  • Created vision of dual culture Suk’temsqilx’w West Kelowna Arts Council: founded and led: uniting businesses, community, and the dual culture of the area

  • Wrote policy and procedures for the Arts Council as well as international art shows
  • Developed strategic & business plan for the Arts Council

Project Management

  • Established partnership for presentation between En’owkin Centre and Suk’wtemsqilx’w West Kelowna Arts Council
  • Planned and coordinated seminar to present impact on Indigenous cultural appropriation & ways to respect

2015 –    2016      Airport Project (Suk’wtemsqilx’w West Kelowna Arts Council)

  • Created procedure/process, including managing and processing intake of artists for YLW Departure Lounge Kiosk
  • Instrumental in the formulation of an MOU between the YLW airport concessionaire Skyway which welcomes artists from Kamloops to Osoyoos (YLW catchment area)

2015 –    2016      Suk’wtemsqilx’w West Kelowna Arts Council (BC Society)

  • Chair (volunteer) Sukwtemsqilx’w West Kelowna Arts Council (First Nation/Non First Nation)
  • Developed Public Art Policy for City of West Kelowna through Arts Council
  • Created connections with two major First Nation entities, En’owkin Centre and Okanagan Nation Alliance
  • Signed MOU between Westbank First Nation and Suk’wtemsqilx’w West Kelowna Arts Council
  • Researched Best Practices and liaised with three different government jurisdictions to further cultural actions: Kelowna, West Kelowna, Westbank First Nation
  • Researched Best Practices and liaised with three governmental levels for further cultural developement: Federal, Provincial, Municipal

  • Initiated, coordinated/led Westside Culture Days 2014 to present, resulted in #1 across Canada in population sector 2015
  • Initiated Westside Culture Days between artists, businesses, West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation which resulted in Sukwtemsqilx’w West Kelowna Arts Council
  • Encouraged The Nations Gallery, the first Westside First Nation art gallery since the 70s
